Learn to Knit
The 2nd Saturday of every month - August 14th, September 11th, October 9th. This class is for beginners to learn to make a scarf. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off. 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Cost $15.00 plus materials. Minimum 3 students. Bring a friend. Registration closes the day prior to the class. Java or Jelly Roll BargelloQuilt
August 14th & August 21st, 12:30pm - 4:30pm,
You will be making a quilt out of the 40 fabric strips included in a pre-cut Java (batik) or
Jelly (traditional fabric) roll. Many people enjoy making a wall hanging (taller than it is wide) or table runner for their first Bargello.
You will get to choose! The best part about this quilt is that you don’t HAVE to quilt it. You “quilt as you piece” and
the quilting afterwards is completely up to you. 1st session AND followed by the 2nd session Cost: $60.00 includes 2 sessions 4 hours each. ( 8 hours total ) Deadline to register: Friday, August 13th. Call 970-547-8300 to reserve your space.
Heels to You! (or how to turn the heel of a sock)
August 19th, 10am - noon -OR- August 20th, 1pm - 3pm.
This class is for the knitter who wants to enjoy the warmth and beauty of handmade socks but has never turned a heel. Students will
bring to class two baby socks (pattern included with class)
that are ready for the heel to be knit. Students can choose
to knit a round heel or a short-row heel (or both).
Warning: Sock knitting is addictive! Cost: $20.00 a class. Deadline to register: day before Class. Call 970-547-8300 to reserve your space.

Show & Tell "Happy Hour"
Wednesday, August 25th, 5pm - 7pm. Show & Tell your knitting or quilting projects. Or just come for fun! Be inspired by others. Refreshments will be served for "Happy Hour."
Tuesday Tea Time Knitters
10 a.m. - Noon - No Fee. Come knit with us on Tuesday mornings. Tea Time has a wonderful group of ladies from locals living here to travelers from afar. Come and have FUN!!!
Wednesday - High Altitude Quilting
10 a.m. - Noon - Bring your own machine or use 1 of our Bernina machines at no charge. Bring a project or find something new at our shop. Bring a friend and meet other quilters. No fee.
Friday - High Country Knitting
10 a.m. - Noon - Come knit, have a cup of tea and socialize. There are always new patterns and yarns to inspire you. As always, no fee.
